I am writing this in behalf of my 3 children. I have a 11 yr old boy and 2 girls ages 6 and 8. They have had a very rough last few months. I left their abusive father a few months ago and since then have also been in a car accident which caused me to have two surgeries (I am right now in a wheelchair). so I have not been able to return to work. These kids are everything to me. They are my life, my best friends and they deserve so much more than I can give to them right now. I want so much for these kids to have a wonderful Christmas this year. They have been through so much and right now I do not know what I can do for them for Christmas due to me being disabled and not working. I have never been in this situation before and I just want them to have something special this year. My kids are very unselfish and have been so strong and brave through all of this and we still have more battles ahead in the next few months. These kids make me proud to be their mother and I love them. They are my reason for being here.

Dear Mom,
I am also recently left an abusive situation so I can kindof understand some of what you are feeling. I am sorry about your accident and will pray for a good outcome from it.
As for the childrens Christmas there are agencies out there that can help you. Try contacting the Salvation Army in your area they can put you on their list for toys or they can direct you to those that will help you. Toys For Tots is another wonderful group that will help supply you with those physical gifts that all children enjoy recieving on Christmas. The children's school may also help, mine has helped me that is how I know.
Your children are so blessed to have you to care for them that my prayers are with all of you. I will keep you in my prayers for you to be abundetly blessed this Christmas and through out the year.
