It was love that held our Lord Jesus to the cross, not nails. He had the power to stop them at any time, but He suffered the mockery and abuse for our sakes. After betraying Him, deserting Him, telling lies about Him, making fun of Him, and all the rest, He still loved us that much!

His Love,

Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. John 15:13

“There is no greater love than this. There is no greater gift that can ever be given. To be willing to die, so another might live -- there is no greater lover than this.” Steven Curtis Chapman

Matthew 5:43-48
Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.

But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.
For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same?
And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so?
Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

John 12:24 we read, "Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, ...

Yeshua died for His enemies, He died that I could live...

Do I really love Him, am I following His example, am I dying daily , am I drinking His cup, am I taking up my cross that others may live.
