Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ!

I especially say a big howdy to any brothers and sisters from the state of Texas. I miss my birthplace very much. I am an unemployed teacher. [BooHoo]

Seriously I do miss Texas, but I'm not worried about the unemployed part anymore--thank You God for that.

In any case, I now live in Emmett, Michigan with my husband, 2 dogs, 4 indoor cats and 6 outdoor cats. I am not part of a church despite having been raised in the Baptist faith and spending 4 years in the Army as a Catholic. But all of that is another story I can tell if asked.

It is my prayer to learn a great deal from this bbs to include finding a Christian denomination I can stick with.

If anyone needs or wants to know more, just ask.

Wow from Texas to ... was it Michigan? Must've been quite a change! [Eek!]

Texas kinda grows on ya after awhile. I've lived here most of my life. I moved to California for two years, but it wasn't for me. So, I high-tailed it back home, and have been here ever since!! [thumbsup2]

Greetings Sister Menolly. I am originally from Michigan but live here in Texas. The Military has brought me literaly around the world in 21 years. I am currently watching Global Warming and reading the board. I have learned a great deal regardless if I accept eveything or not. Wish I could meet each person.
