Lee Strobel on Jesus Christ - New

Overview
Lee Strobel has written and taught persuasively about Christ in his books A Case for Christ and A Case for Faith. A skeptic originally, Strobel writes convincingly to help those who have doubts move to faith in Christ.

In this three-session course, he teaches us the basics of what we need to know about Jesus Christ.

Session One
Are There Many Paths to God?
There is only one way to heaven, and that is through Jesus Christ.Acts 4:12Jesus made the outrageous claim that he is the only way to God. Why is this claim so controversial? One reason is that it strikes at the core of three great myths about religion: 1) All religions are basically the same; 2) Christianity is simply one philosophy among many; and 3) Christians are arrogant to think Jesus is the only way to heaven. This study challenges those myths.

Session Two
The Truth about the Resurrection
The evidence is overwhelming that Jesus rose from the dead.1 Corinthians 15:12–20In 1 Corinthians 15:17 the apostle Paul wrote, “If Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins.” The resurrection of Jesus is the linchpin of Christianity. It is the ultimate authentication of Jesus Christ’s claim that he is the unique Son of God.

Session Three
Meet the Jesus I Know
Three stories show God’s desire to adopt, forgive, and redeem.2 Corinthians 5:17This study is about the Jesus I know, who has changed my life. This study will not only provide you information about Jesus, but will attempt to help you experience Jesus. If a friend asked me, “Who is this Jesus?” I would tell my friend three true stories that illuminate different aspects of who Jesus is.
