If the foundations be destroyed what shall the people do? Our founders tried to build a government based on biblical principal. It has always been under attack. It obviously is today also. But this is for refinement. That's why we need to be encouraged so we can pray about and for this process to be God directed. God is love. And His ways are above our ways. He chastises all those He loves. Have you ever seen a seed sprout? When the seed is exposed to water the seed absorbs moisture and begins to swell. When the shell cannot resist the expansion anymore it breaks open. The cells inside the seed continue to multiply until it is growing according to the DNA inside it. The old shell is wasted and the new plant seeks light energy to sustain it's growth. All conditions being appropriate, the plant continues to grow until it produces more seed. Our country is constantly producing a harvest,which must be replanted in good soil. We must make sure our instituitions are giving our people good water,nutrition, and light from a heavenly source. If not, they must be challenged to remain in the will of God. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. He endured, Our nations founders honored Him. They endured. We must follow their example.
