Did God sacrifice Himself to Himself to appease Himself and/or to change the rules He made in the first place? This is a popular question I see a lot.

Any thoughts?

No because each is there own separate unit of function..

Christ who is God died for us so, we can have fellowship with God. Jesus was a man but also God who died as a man and God before God.
