I'm doing a study of Revelation and there is the passage that describes the Millenial reign of Christ for 1000 yrs. There is peace on earth and no wars. Satan is thrown into the pit for those same 1000 years. So mankind has the opportunity to live without Satan's influence and there is peace and Christ reigns on earth.

The question is:

Would Eve have sinned by eating from the Tree of Knowledge if Satan had not been present to tempt her?

We know that through that first sin, that mankind is now born in a sin nature.

Adam and Eve were created without sin or the inate sin nature.

The Devil was temptation, so I believe that she wouldn't have eaten from the tree of knowledge without his crafty influence.

Thanks for your reply. I was just wondering about that. It's difficult to imagine that Adam and Eve could have been without sin, if Satan didn't have the permission from God to tempt them.
