I had sent a message to someone almost two weeks ago. That person sent me an answer a few days later...
I needed to read this message again today and the answer that this person sent me as well and it isn't in my profile anymore and I certainly did not delete it...
How could this be???
Did any of the moderators delete it???... [Confused]

I'm not sure what may have happened to your message, but maybe the person who sent it to you still has it in their profile.

That must be the reason why that message was deleted because I know I didn't... [Confused]

I think that there is a setting in your profile that determines how long you can see a post, but the post is there you just have to change the setting to see it. I did not know it applied to PM's but it might. We (Admin) do not have access to any of your PM's we can not see them or delete them. If the other person started the PM and they deleted it; then I think it would be gone. It seems to me that there is just one copy of a PM because if I send one to you I cant reply to it or add to it or change it till you send it back; so I am guessing if it was back in someone else's box and they deleted it; it is gone.

This is all speculation I am not certain on anything except that I cannot see or delete your PM's.

I did not delete anything...

Where is that setting you are talking about helpforhomeschoolers?
I may try that...
this board is very different from the one I spend most of my time...so I don't know how this one fonctions...

I don't think there is a setting like that for PM's. I looked all through the profile set up & couldn't find anything like that. I still have PM's showing from late last year. That's why I was thinking it maybe have been related to FM being "unregistered".
