First of all...I am not endorsing this as anything bible prophecy related...However, some time ago, a friend pointed out an interesting coincidence using numerology. First, take each letter of the alphabet and assign a number to it, starting with the number 6. Then add 6 to it for each letter after that.

Then, if you add up the equivalent value for certain words, the numbers add up to 666. For example:

Computer = 666
Terminals = 666
Monetary = 666
Mark of Beast = 666

Pretty eerie coincidence, huh?

Its just a math trick! The average for the letters is 81... most of the words that have 8 or 9 letters will average about 666... and since all final numbers are divisable by 6... the odds of an 8 or 9 letter word ending up 666 is very possible.
