 I shall walk toward my car completely naked and keyless and laughing maniacally and I shall wave my arm over a tiny scanner and the doors will open and the engine will start and the stereo will begin to pump out "Highway to Hell" at a nice respectable skull-thumping volume.

And, lo, it shall be Good.

I shall stroll up to any ATM sans wallet and sans ATM card and I shall hold my arm over the screen and immediately withdraw four hundred dollars and then turn around to the big shiny vending machine and wave my arm again and get myself a nice bag of toxic neon-orange Doritos and a Diet Mountain Dew so I can poison my body in the American tradition without inserting a single piece of needless pocket change.

It is all possible. It is all just on the cusp. All we must do is welcome the sinister intimations and the positively draconian implications and say a big warm slightly terrified hello to the new, FDA-approved implantable microchip, coming soon to a hospital and a Starbucks and a bleak government agency and a human dermal layer near you. Very, very near you.

Have you seen it? Did you check out the pictures? Microchips the size of a grain of rice, programmed with all manner of data and inserted just under your skin and it's all completely legal and government approved and it's happening right now. I mean, who knew microchipping your pet and implanting livestock would lead to this? Oh right -- everyone, that's who.

The wait is over. No more Philip K. Dick sci-fi fantasia, no more far-off Orwellian Big Brother. We are there. Or, rather, here. This new chip is already being implanted in medical patients for the alleged purpose of tracking their health needs and speeding treatment and it is right now being used in the flesh of employees working in high-security areas to ensure they don't swipe top-secret pens and classified pads of Post-it Notes.

Which is to say, you have been warned. Human skin has already been penetrated. Alarms are already sounding because it's one of those things wherein you can't even fully comprehend all the weird and creepy and potentially dangerous possibilities, but it doesn't even matter because all you need to hear is those four magic words: Microchip. Implant. Human. Flesh. And all your intuitive senses go, whoa.

Oh sure, the initial benefits will appear harmless and helpful. They will say the chip will mostly be used for health reasons and they will say it's to be strictly monitored and there is no way the tiny implants could possibly be corrupted because it's just a cute little itty-bitty microchip containing cute little itty-bitty bits of helpful medical data to help doctors diagnose you ha ha sucker.

This is what they will say. This is how it starts. This is how it always starts.

But that, of course, is never where it ends. Already we can imagine the likes of John Ashcroft, salivating noisily at the idea of inserting similar chips directly into the skin of every swarthy foreigner and every tofu-sucking liberal commie protester while they sleep so the government can track your movements and erase your Social Security number and stomp down your door the minute you buy a used copy of "How to Make Cool Thermonuclear Warheads in Your Bathtub." This much is a given.

But it's what happens after that where things get sticky, treacherous, spiritually appalling. After all, personal information is a form of knowledge and knowledge is power and the new chip is all about who knows what about whom and the government would dearly love to know it all, especially about you. What's stopping them? What's preventing every citizen from getting a nice implant and considering it a wondrous boon? Not much, really.

Think it can't go that far? Think the populace will resist, or they can't possibly do this without our knowing? Think again. The first step is getting the public to accept the new technology as benign and beneficial (i.e., it's for health!). The next is to make it appear all fun and commercial and ultraconvenient (i.e., score drinks at cool clubs without money, just like they already do in Spain!)

The third step is, well, whatever the hell they want.

So then, let us flip it over. Let us embrace the evil, given how we appear to have little choice. Let us make our wish list now and spell out our all-American capitalist desires for this new technology because we might as well get some cool features and fabulous benefits out of it as we all blithely sacrifice our personal identities at the altar of murky and unsettling progress. After all, evil always has an upside, right?

Like, for example, subway rides. Bridge tolls. Movie tickets. Just wave your arm to the sensor, pal. Airline check-in? Rental car? Proof of ID? It will all be in your arm, baby. Shoe size, blood-alcohol limit, contact-lens prescription, voter registration, grocery-store discounts, phone numbers of all your former lovers, alimony-payment status, PINs and electronic-bike-lock combos and car-seat-adjustment preferences and oh my goodness let the imagination run wild.

It is a world of incredible possibility. It is a world where you will become instantly traceable and locatable and with a tweak here and a wire there we can now follow you via GPS no matter where you are on the planet. Until now, you've always had to carry some sort of largish device with you. No more.

The dynamic has changed. The ancient wisdom has fallen. No longer are we a delicious dance of mind and body, spirit and flesh. Meet the new triad: we are now spirit and flesh and technology. Get used to it.

It will, I predict, become a fabulous new trend. The chips will become fashion accessories, invisible status symbols, like dental fillings stamped with the Gucci logo or cool tattoos on your kidney. Your credit limit will be implanted into your skin. Your access to private clubs and shops and spas will be granted depending on the status of your chip. Keyless-entry implants will be free with purchase of any new Jaguar.

Another Botox injection? Certainly. Just wave your face over the scanner, please. New Range Rover? Absolutely. Just waves your ***** over the screen. Entrance to this exclusive club? I'm sorry, your chip says you're plebeian scum making less than 22K a year and you seem to enjoy weird books and illicit sex and mild but annoying acts of sedition and anarchy. Please go away.

We are mere inches away from making all this happen. We are mere millimeters from giving it all away, to just saying screw it and letting Wal-Mart and Starbucks and McDonald's and Amazon and the Justice Department and the corporate monoliths have their way with us once and for all and inject us with all manner of cute little microchips to make our shopping better and our wallets less cluttered and our lives at once easier and more convenient and far more ominous and more completely compromised and fabulously corrupted than we could ever have hoped.

Look. The future is no longer coming fast. The future has raced right up to our faces and is screaming its shrill greeting and is penetrating our very flesh on a relatively painless surprisingly affordable outpatient basis. The technology has finally arrived, quiet and calm and unassuming as a grain of rice.

And as we all hop in this speeding handbasket, just imagine how nice it will be not to have to carry any cash.

While your post poses an interesting theme, and one that most likely will come to pass in the next few years, I think you have mischaracterized John Ashcroft.

He is a Christian. The elite press has misrepresented his stances at every turn.

The ones who will be "salivating" over having complete control over people's actions and activities are the same ones who believe it's their duty to indoctrinate children in political correctness and tolerance. It will be the ones who want to give every school child a psychiatric exam and genetic testing to see what their potentials are and areas of interest lie, so they can program children to be either laborors, or office workers, or scientists, or doctors, based on their own ideas of what makes a perfect worker.

Terrorists can't be "profiled" as Muslim men from the Middle East, who are under 30, because everyone knows that's what the 9-11 terrorists were, and we don't want to be discriminating.

So 70 year old grandmothers who were born in America have to have cards to prove they have a real hip replacement, a card to prove they have a pacemaker, or strip down to their orthopedic socks to prove they have nothing in their special diabetic orthopedic shoes before they get on a plane.

I wish John Ashcroft could have had his way, in doing "profiling".

It's very true that the US has now adopted a National ID. All regulations for driver's licenses and birth certificates have been taken away from the states. It is now the law that all regulations for driver's licenses and birth certificates are now under the control of the Homeland Security Office. It's also true that the verichip which will contain all of your financial information, medical information, driver's license, security information has been in production for quite some time and it's due to become law in 2005 that everyone has to have this verichip. The verichip will be given by syringe.
The verichip news story was told on the Today Show quite sometime ago. Also in our local newspaper on the business page it told of the verichip which is to become law soon.

This is the mark of the beast as foretold in the bible and everyone who knows about it must be prepared to totally resist taking it! It's very sad that some who may or may not have known not to accept the chip have already done so. Also they're going to implant the chip into new born babies. Everyone must beware of this mark of the beast!

“Your Papers Please”

US adopts National ID: Homeland Security Now In charge of Regulations for all US States Drivers Licenses and Birth Certificates

In a chilling act more reminiscent of the now defunct Soviet Union or the Nazi regime of Adolph Hitler, the United States Congress passed legislation yesterday that requires the States to surrender their regulatory rights over driver’s licenses and birth certificates to The Department of Homeland Security.

The massive US Intelligence Reform Bill weighed in at over 3,000 pages and though unread by individual Members of either the House or Senate nevertheless passed all of the legislative hurdles needed in order to become law.

President Bush lobbied hard for these provisions, only objecting when Senator Sensenbrenner attempted to require these same provisions for illegal aliens but which the President opposed. This provision was dropped from the final bill.

Beginning in 2005, the Department of Homeland Security will issue new uniformity regulations to the States requiring that all Drivers Licenses and Birth Certificates meet minimal Federal Standards with regard to US citizen information, including biometric security provisions.

Added to currently existing Federal Laws and Supreme Court rulings American citizens when born will be issued a Social Security Number that will be included on their Birth Certificates, along with DNA biometric markers. All birth certificates will also be registered in a Federal Government database maintained by the Department of Homeland Security. No child will be allowed enrollment to schools or be entitled to either State of Federal Government benefits programs without first presenting a certified Homeland Security registered Birth Certificate.

Drivers Licenses will also contain DNA biometric markers and include the holders Social Security Number and be required for receiving and applying for all State and Federal benefits programs. Previous Supreme Court rulings have also upheld State and Federal Law Enforcement authorities right to request Identification from any American citizen, for any reason and at any time as not being violations of their, the citizens, constitutionally protected rights.

Major Banks and credit card companies have applauded the adoption of a National ID system as being important to counter fraud and increasing instances of identity theft. National ID cards with biometric markers will eliminate them from having to issue Credit and Debit cards, which for the first time in US history have surpassed the usage of checks and cash. Utilizing The Department of Homeland Securities centralized federal database, Banks and credit card companies will only require the presentation of a citizens Driver’s License to make purchases as all of the persons financial information, including credit and cash balances, will already be known in ‘real time’. (The combining of Homeland Security and Banking databases on citizen’s balances and purchases, along with their past and present purchasing information, has been allowed under previous Federal Laws including the Patriot Act.)

Also included in this bill is a law to require The Department of Homeland Security to establish a separate ID system for citizens to use prior to boarding airplanes, and which is eerily reminiscent of the Soviet and Nazi regimes dreaded Internal Passport.

Never before in our history have the words of Benjamin Franklin been so correct when he stated: "people willing to trade their freedom for temporary security deserve neither and will lose both".

Today, December 9, 2004 will be one of those moments in time that future historians will look back on and pin point as being the day that the United States of American, and as it was founded by its forefathers, ceased to exist.

The Time of the Mark is Here

Everyone is familiar with the now advanced, yet ever so subtle technology that is being used today to keep your kids located (In Europe particularly), identify felons and convicts, travelers, RFID for numerous patient health care reasons, and so on. It exists today, is being used now, and is being widely accepted as the right thing to do.

Presented as a need which outweighs concerns, it is very smoothly being integrated into our society, and people are buying into it rapidly for its ease of use, and much more.

Consider this first - John told us it would take wisdom -

Revelation 13 -

16He also forced everyone, small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on his right hand or on his forehead, 17so that no one could buy or sell unless he had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of his name.
18This calls for wisdom. If anyone has insight, let him calculate the number of the beast, for it is man's number. His number is 666.

This cannot be "Spiritual" because it denotes a literal mark used for buying and selling (More on this in a moment)

The RFID and similar technology microchip is about the size of a grain of rice, or in some cases round and about the size of a small ibuprofen pill, only flat and thin.

Research proved that the only effective area to implant it are in the forehead or hand.

While they have used under the arm, and a few other places, the "IDEAL" locations are exactly as John described.


People have always wondered and attempted to "calculate" the names, causing disputes in regarding what it meant and how to determine the meaning of "666" and the "mark of the beast".

God brought to life The Revelation of St. John the Divine for a reason - To help us prepare for what lies ahead. To give insight and understanding without fear, so we as "His Chosen" would not "Take The Mark" when the time came.

God knew everything before it happened and has already planned our path through the soon to come Great Tribulation.

He has already determined the final outcome – WE WIN!! – through Jesus Christ - AMEN!!

During the time of the "Mark of the Beast", God will raise his church (at the rapture, the Catching Away, the Translating of the Restrainer) and pour out his wrath upon the rest of the world.

Over the last two or three decades there has been extensive advancement in technology, just as Daniel said there would be - Another fulfillment of prophecy never before seen as he described.

One in particular is that infamous "Mark of the Beast".

The original purpose of the RFID type chip was to restore mobility to people with severed nerves, then it was discovered that it could be used to modify behaviour. This opened a whole new area of research and development.

Certain World Governments, development companies, and several other foundations quickly realized that there were much more important uses commercially and personally.

These more important uses begin with simple versions already being used world wide to keep track of pets and other animals, as well as children, convicts, certain types of medical patients, travelers, and more as I mentioned earlier.

InfoPet has been endorsed by the ASPCA and has been selected as the global standard for zoos and aquariums by the Captive Breeding Specialist Group of the IUCN. Hundreds of zoos worldwide, as well as government agencies in at least 21 countries are using the trovan system for animal identification purposes.

Bracelet tracks kids by satellite - Two United States companies have unveiled tracking bracelets that can locate a child within 60 seconds of a distress call being sent.

The bracelets transmit a signal that is picked up by the Global Positioning System network of navigational satellites.

The devices are being sold by rival US companies.

It's most important applications they say are positive identification and control.

We can uniquely identify over 34 billion recipients and locate any one of them via satellite to within a few feet of their location.

Testing and development in humans is well advanced in numerous countries.

Several years ago Sweden tested the chip in 6,000 men, and the U.S. in 17,000 babies -neither found any reported side effects (Easing into the public, seemingly very helpful, useful and safe)

The chips usually contains a tiny lithium battery with charging circuits activated by skin temp changes.

Therefore, it must be placed in a position where temperature changes occur most rapidly.

More than 1.5 million dollars was spent finding out that the two places in the body that the temperature changes the most rapidly are in the forehead - Preferred, and the back of the hand.

Advanced versions of these chips contain the same information as the SmartCards.

They can store huge amounts of personal data like your photo, your identity, any criminal record and your purchasing history -(Most important for tracking Buying and Selling)

It also has the ability to be used in the same way as any credit, debit or EFTPOS card, but with the added ability that it can be filled up with a cash value that can be used whenever you do shopping. Touted as the wave of the future and the best thing to come along.

Plans are in place to make acceptance of the chip natural, logical and beneficial to the general public as is already being done at am alarming rate.

A beast that wants to appear as harmless and desirable – in order to obtain the greatest degree of acceptance.

Right now it is still voluntary – just like credit cards – and a great proportion of the population will receive them very willingly –

The benefits of using the "Voluntary" ID Chips -

Never fear losing your baby or any other relative again.

Never lose your money or credit card again.

No more credit card fraud – because nobody can steal your chip or even use your chip number (I wonder what the number of the AntiChrist's Chip will be) separately from your chip.

No need to carry money – just charge up your hand with a cash value that can be used in public transport and other places that don't have a phone link with banks - This is happening now in certain electronic maker corporate structures.

No need to carry a driver's license or passport because all the information can be contained in the chip.

It is rapidly becoming widespread and accepted.

We can expect to see alternate things like cash and credit cards slowly disappear until the chip becomes the only legal way to buy or sell (Sounds like Revelation to me)

Using cash, checks and credit cards will disappear - Banks will adjust their fees on these services to eliminate them for the "better" chip method -

People will not be able to use government services or receive government benefits without the chip to identify themselves.

People will not be able to get employment without the chip to identify themselves.

The governments will impose the highest tax rates to anyone not onboard with the ID chip.

You won't be able to get paid or use your $$$, bank or pay bills without the chip.

Hand readers will be everywhere, including the average home to allow internet buying and selling.

Passports are already doing it, and it is only a matter of time before driver's licenses will be completely replaced by the chip

International travel is already doing this and driving will eventually be limited to those who have the chip.

The ability to buy or sell ANYTHING – without the chip – will gradually diminish and eventually disappear altogether.

Laws are already in place, and others are on the way, in preparation for the chip.

Eventually, it will become law for everyone to have the chip.

Christians will refuse to accept it, creating a faster paced requirement and making it become law much faster.

The President of the United States already has the power to enforce the use of the chip - (Section 100 of the Emigration and Control Act of 1996.)

There are bills before the U.S. congress right now that will allow them to inject a microchip in your baby at the time of birth for identification purposes.


The book of Revelation was written in Greek, so it is important to note that any interpretation will need to consider the Greek version of the text in order to get the clearest possible understanding.

mark charagma

(khar'-ag-mah) A scratch or etching ie. a stamp (as a badge of servitude). It comes from charasso (which means to sharpen to a point.) {A microchip is an etching in a piece of silicon.}

name onoma

(on'-om-ah) A "name" (literally or figuratively) [authority, character] – eg. Having the authority of someone's name.

count psephizo
(psay-fid'-zo) To use pebbles in enumeration, ie. (in general) to compute or count. {Silicon chips are small pebbles of sand.)

man's anthropos
(anth'-ro-pos) Man-faced, ie. a human being – particularly a certain individual.

666 chi xi stigma
(khee xee stig'-ma) This can be interpreted as either a number (666) or as text:
"chi" means 600;
"xi" means 60.
"stigma" means 6, but also means a mark incised or punched (for recognition of ownership). It comes from stizo (to "stick", ie. prick).


{16} He [the second beast] caused everyone, small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive an etching of servitude (a chip made with a sharp point) in their right hand, or in their foreheads; {17} so that no one could buy or sell unless they had the etching of servitude, or the authority of the beast, or the number of his authority. {18} Here is wisdom. Let him that has understanding count the number of the beast, for it is an individual's [identification] number. His number is incised with a pricking action.

"Etching" may refer to the incision into the skin, but more likely it refers to the chip itself, because that is exactly how microchips are made - by etching a piece of silicon with a sharp or pointed electron beam.

That some will be able to operate using "the authority of the beast" or with "the number of his authority" suggests that a select few, will have the authority to buy and sell etc without the chip being implanted in their hand or forehead.

If "the number of his authority" is interpreted as "the number of his name", then it could mean that you would be able to use your identification number manually (for phone or internet purchases) but this is inconsistent with the purpose of the chip.

In Rev 16:2 it says there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men who had the mark of the beast -

If the lithium in the chip escapes into the body, that's what'll happen!

Although there are numerous ways that the secular world has used the number 666 the interpretation of chi xi stigma as a number (666) is irrelevant.

The way to read it is, "Your identification number, incised or pricked into the skin."

Look at how closely the chip fits the description in Scripture. We are indeed very close to the time of the the Great Tribulation - Which means the Rapture IS INDEED VERY SOON!

The Bible says many Christians will give up their faith over the issue of whether or not to receive the mark - Again, another reason to believe it is tangible and not Spiritual.

They will do this because resisting will be too hard –

The Word of God says this

And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: And the smoke of their torment ascends up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receives the mark of his name - Rev 14:9-11

The time of the mark is here - We are better prepared because we trust and believe in God's Word -

The world will hate you for standing firm in your Christian faith. We must hold fast to the reward that God has for those who hold on to their faith and do not give in.

Christ IS coming to Rapture the Church Very Soon I believe!! AMEN!!

The Detroit News reports: “Privacy advocates worry that provisions buried in the intelligence bill President Bush is to sign Friday will lead to a national identification card.

Little-noted measures included in the legislation that reshuffles intelligence agencies order states to begin issuing new fraud-proof birth certificates, and new driver's licenses with standardized data encoded on them are set for 2006.

The legislation also orders states to stop putting Social Security numbers on licenses.

What data will be included on licenses and how it will be used in federal databanks is not yet clear. The legislation only requires the data to be ‘machine readable,’ leaving the issue of what data to collect to the Department of Transportation and the Department of Homeland Security. Regulations concerning fraud-proofing birth certificates are to be drafted by the Department of Heath and Human Services.

‘There's a problem,’ said Marc Rotenberg, a Georgetown University law professor who serves as executive director of the Electronic Privacy Information Center, a Washington think tank.

‘There are two directions they can go here. One is to reduce the likelihood of fraud and counterfeiting of driver's licenses, which we all would applaud. Or they could link this all together in a new national database, which is what they should not do.’

Rotenberg called the measure ‘not quite half a step towards a national identification card’ because its full impact has not yet been determined.

The bill, which Congress adopted earlier this month after stripping out controversial immigration provisions, carries out key recommendations of the 9/11 Commission, including establishing standards for birth certificates and driver's licenses…”

John tried to explain the "Wisdom" it would take to be prepared and undrstand it when it came.

Translated properly, in GREEK, it makes complete sense -

The numbers table means nothing.

It was just another way like tryin to say that the alphabet numbers added up to 666 - Meant nothing and was inaccurate.

That is why it was so widespread and wrong. Like saying that the Popes name adds up to 666 or Bill Gates in ASCII, pure silliness.

Proper discernment and wisdom reveal the truth.

The idea that prophecy already happened in this regard is a tool of the enemy to prevent people from being prepared.

The AD 70 doctrine like Seventh Day Adventists teach is a fallacy in many respects and does not properly discern the prophecies in the Word.

The enemy wants to debunk the Rapture, to help people not be ready for the truth - The truth is that the RFID is and will be the mark. Of that you can be sure...

Do not listen when others try to say this is wrong - That is just the enemy trying to teach that Daniel, Revelation, and every other prophecy either already happened.

We are living in the end times, and old number tables have nothing to do with the true meaning of A Man's Number, the Number of His Name- 666.

Sorry Tim - The prophecies have not been fulfilled, yet - And your use of the "Futurist" as you call it only serves to further the cause of the enemy.

He wants everyone to NOT believe in the Rapture, to think that they KNOW Jesus is NOT coming, yet...

And he wants them to think that the prophecies were for the past - This is a lie from the enemy...

Amen! Your postings explain in depth exactly what is going on right now insofar as the mark of the beast and exactly what christians can expect that will happen before long. Everyone needs to take heed of the warning and must be aware at all times and must totally refuse the mark of the beast!

Of course the Spirit of AntiChrist is, and has been, in the world -

ANYTHING that goes AGAINST Jesus is ANTICHRIST - This is NOT THE SAME as "THE ANTICHRIST" being revealed -

The lawless one - The son of perdition - The Beast who WILL proclaim himself God. The one who will come forward, confirm a 7 year covenant of peace.

Why do you think the temple IS being rebuilt as we speak?

Why do you think the Sanhedrin has been reborn?

Why do you think the bible says when the restrainer is removed, then HE WILL BE REVEALED, and will prevail for 7 years?

Have they begun to build ? Does this have anything to do with the removal of the dirt near the wall ?

Well, my wife just recently got her drivers license changed to display her new last name...Well, down at the office where she went there was a big ordeal and confusion about her social security number and getting her drivers license...Something about getting one done first before the other (new social security card/drivers license)...Anyway...She had to make an extra trip for some strange reason to get it all sorted out...

Well, she gets home and opens some mail that tells her she's gotta go back down to the office and show her new social security card first otherwise she'll get fined if she doesn't...The funny thing is, her drivers license already came in the mail a couple of weeks earlier...

I asked her trying to make sense of it all..."How in the world did you get your drivers license in the first place if it was all wrong."


Alot of things didn't make sense and it was a very confusing ordeal...It might have something to do with this new "law" that took place...

SANHEDRIN LAUNCHED IN TIBERIAS

A unique ceremony - probably only the 2nd of its kind in the past 1,600 years - took place in Tiberias today: The launching of a Sanhedrin, the highest Jewish-legal tribunal in the Land of Israel.

A unique ceremony - probably only the second of its kind in the past 1,600 years - is taking place in Tiberias today: The launching of a Sanhedrin, the highest Jewish-legal tribunal in the Land of Israel.

The Sanhedrin, a religious assembly that convened in one of the Holy Temple chambers in Jerusalem, comprised 71 sages and existed during the Tannaitic period, from several decades before the Common Era until roughly 425 C.E. Details of today's ceremony are still sketchy, but the organizers' announced their intention to convene 71 rabbis who have received special rabbinic ordination as specified by Maimonides.

An attempt to reconvene the Sanhedrin was made several centuries ago in Tzfat. The body in fact ordained such greats as Rabbi Yosef Karo, the author of the classic Jewish Law code Shulhan Arukh. However, the opposition of other leading rabbis soon forced the end of the endeavor.

One of the leaders of today's attempt to revive the Sanhedrin is Rabbi Yeshai Ba'avad of Beit El. He said that the 71 rabbis "from across the spectrum received the special ordination, in accordance with Maimonides' rulings, over the past several months." Rabbi Ba'avad explained that the membership of the new body is not permanent: "What is much more crucial is the establishment of this body. Those who are members of it today will not necessarily be its members tomorrow. But the goal is to have one rabbinic body in Jerusalem that will convene monthly and issue rulings on central issues. This is the need of the generation and of the hour."

Rabbi Yisrael Ariel, who heads the Temple institute in Jerusalem, is one of the participating rabbis. He told Arutz-7 today, "Whether this will be the actual Sanhedrin that we await, is a question of time - just like the establishment of the State; we rejoiced in it, but we are still awaiting something much more ideal. It's a process. Today's ceremony is really the continuation of the renewal of the Ordination process in Israel, which we marked several months ago. Our Talmudic Sages describe the ten stages of exile of the Sanhedrin from Jerusalem to other locations, until it ended in Tiberias - and this is the place where it was foretold that it would be renewed, and from here it will be relocated to Jerusalem."

Rabbi Ariel said that the rabbis there included many from the entire spectrum:
"Hareidi, religious-Zionist, Sephardi, Ashkenazi, hassidi, and many others - such as Rabbi Yoel Schwartz, Rabbi Adin Shteinzaltz, and many others... We can't expect a great consensus; that's not how things work here. But sometimes that's how the process goes, from the bottom up."

Replica Temple Built
 It's no secret that there are a number of Jews in Israel and around the world who would like to see the Jewish Temple rebuilt on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. Unfortunately, there is currently a Muslim mosque there - it would have to be torn down for the Temple to be rebuilt and that would likely set off a religious war. That doesn't deter Jewish extremists, some of whom have built a replica Temple to train priests. Why? Because they hope that someday, and maybe someday soon, there will be a need for trained priests to serve in the Third Temple.

IsraelToday reports:

The Jewish community of Mitzpe Yericho , between Jerusalem and Jericho, is home to the model, which is built on a 1:1 scale. Covering an area of 25,000 square meters (269,000 square feet), it will function as a training site to prepare priests (kohanim) for service in the Third Temple in Jerusalem. ... “A man who wants to serve as a priest in the Temple must be extremely responsible,” explained Rabbi Kreuser. “It is not a job for everyone. The Temple priests are the ambassadors of the Almighty on earth.”

Training priests doesn't make much sense unless you expect them to be able to apply that training at some point in their lives - they certainly hope that they will have that chance, otherwise they are wasting their time. Such activity only serves to fuel Palestinian and Muslim suspicions about Israeli intentions in Jerusalem.

im a little confused as to why some here think this chip is the mark. the Bible is very clear on the fact that whoever takes the mark is damned to hell. i cant see where a newborn child being inpregnated with a chip is going to be damned to hell.

Discernment means understanding - A newborn baby would, when he / she is old enough to decide to follow Jesus or not, would only be accountable at that time.

It is The Acceptance of the Mark, the willingness to take it, and to follow the AntiChrist that John was speaking of, not newborn babies with no knowledge. They have to choose to worship him as well.

It IS the mark, of that you can be sure - As I stated. proper Greek translation shows very clearly that ancient numbering systems have nothing to do with it.

The chip, as it matures, has and will have everything, including ones right to buy and sell - Just like what will soon become law.

The bible is very specific that NO ONE will be able to buy or sell without it.

There are many other aspects of the Prophecy and the chip that are fulfilled with it.

The patients in a hospital, with an old version that have it for different reasons are not the same as those that will have the full blown version with ID, Drivers license, Birth certificate info, banking and SSN, Credit card, and GPS locator all in one - Those are and will become law. Already accepted by our FDA and the EU's, set to become law next year, here in our own country.

Every aspect of the chip reflects prophecy - 666 has nothing to do with old alphabet numbering systems - That is why it was a riddle not to be revealed until the end times.

That is why John said it would take wisdom - And I am right - It is about the Greek translation - That is Holy Spirit inspired interpetation and revelation - Of that I am sure.

Not to fear though - Children and babies cannot choose to worship the AntiChrist -

So what will happen to the people who may be injected with the chip against their will? Say in a case where someone is unconscious during an operation and they were injected with the chip unaware and against their will?

So what will happen to those unaware?

Again - It is not just the chip injection. It is the acceptance of the AntiChrist, and the worship of him.

Only those left behind will be faced with the choice. Just like in the days of Noah - There are MANY scoffers, people who try to refut the Rapture, and the rise of the AntiChrist - These people are the ones just like in Noahs day, that laughed at him, and were swept away.

Hello Favorminded, You said children and babies cannot choose whether to take the mark or not. Okay, I agree, but, If a woman is having a baby in a hospital setting during the time of the mark being given, then wouldnt she have the mark seeing as no one buys or sells without it?

You would be "buying" the services of that hospital where you have your baby, correct?

And if this woman opts to have her baby recieve the mark (this is all hypothetical) what happens to that baby?

I agree that the mark will be a choice by those who will be here during the rise of the anti-Messiah, And it will effect everyone in commerce and exchange of goods and services. So if you think about it, just going to a hospital for any kind of trauma or sickness will most probably require the person to have the "mark" "chip" or whatever to be accepted to recieve hospital admission, agree?

Take public schools for instance, most all here in the US require children to be inoculated from childhood diseases before entry, so probably those who refuse mark cannot send their child to public schools.

It will be a terrible time for sure. But it will probably also be a time of great miricles for those who become believers in Yeshua. I think this will be the time of the greatest of signs and miricles ever by Yahweh for those who choose to follow Him.

I believe some will go into captivity, some will be martyered(spell?)and some will be protected thruout the entire time of the tribulation period to spread the word of Yeshua.

The war on terrorisim is a good thing, but in contrast, and little by little our freedoms are being taken from us. These are most assuradely the last days spoken of in the scriptures.

I have a feeling believers will not have access to medical care by the time the AntiChrist is openly demanding that he be worshipped and demanding the mark be used as proof of loyalty to his regime. Most will probably be living underground and hoping they have a doctor who is on the run or off the grid with them. Being unwilling to accept the mark will mean denouncing your rights and privileges of citizenship. That will be a weighty decision, and the weak will not choose it.
