In September Representatives will be voting on the Federal Marriage Amendment. As you know, liberal Senators filibustered the FMA and did not allow a vote in the Senate. But our chances of winning in the House are extremely promising.

Does your Representative support homosexual marriage?

This battle isn't just about homosexual marriage. Here is what homosexual leaders say about their efforts to kill the FMA. "Being queer is more than setting up house, sleeping with a person of the same gender and seeking state approval for doing so... Being queer means ... transforming the very fabric of society." Those are the words of Patti Ettelbrick, former legal director of the (homosexual) Lambda Legal Defense and Education Fund.

Michelangelo Signorile, homosexual activist and writer, said: "[The goal of homosexuals is to] fight for same-sex marriage and its benefits and then, once granted, redefine the institution of marriage completely ... The most subversive action lesbian and gay men can undertake ... is to transform the notion of 'family' entirely."

Does your Representative support homosexual marriage?

This war isn't over, it has just begun. Every Representative in the House is up for re-election in November! Your participation carries more clout than in the Senate where only one third of the Senators are up for re-election.

Now you see the importance of 3,000,000 signatures on the petition supporting the Federal Marriage Amendment. We already have 2,000,000. We need an additional 1,000,000 signatures by early September! We can't do it without your help!
