Hundreds of armed Palestinian children gathered in the streets of Gaza City singing the praises of the leader of Iraq, Saddam Hussein. The children urged Saddam to fire missiles to Israeli territory while burning the flags of Israel and the US. During the gathering the Palestinian youths walked about dressed in white cloaks and wearing explosive belts.
