The army is issuing emergency call-up notices this afternoon. The "tzav-8" notices will be distributed "In light of assessments of the situation and in accordance with the IDF's needs," military sources told The Jerusalem Post.
The reservists will beef up military forces for sustained operations in Palestinian areas, and are expected to be deployed along the seam line and carry out auxiliary actions in the territories. The IDF also put on hold training courses and is expected to deploy conscripts from these courses for tasks in the territories.

IDF troops were deployed Thursday in the West bank towns of Jenin, Nablus, kalkilya and Bethlehem, where they set up command posts in the towns and enforced curfews, an example of the new Israeli policy. Dozens of tanks also rolled into Tulkarem, just inside the West Bank, and an adjacent refugee camp.
