An atheist will often say that men wrote the Bible. They are right, because the alternative would be that it evolved or that it made itself, which is ludicrous. Yes, men wrote the Bible, but they wrote it in the same way a pen is instrumental in writing a letter. Men were God’s instruments to pen His letter (His will) to humanity. His personal signature is on the letter through the amazing prophecies of the Bible, because only He knows the future. ~ Ray Comfort

I put my soul in the bible but can I ask.
The bible as we know it was written very recently back in aciant roman time by cholic high priest.

I am just scared becouse a man is easily dreavin to temptation and so they couled easily have "modified" the bible to ceep there own power just as some of them where afraid of jesus when he came.

So how will we ever know the most urest od pure scriptures?

Hi you all!

How do we know if the Bible is true? Well let's understand something. The bible is neither Catholic or Protestant. In fact the human authors were of Jewish decent some say Luke wasn't but his faith in Christ made him whole. I believe it is by faith you know where you stand with God, and it by faith you know if the word coming at you is of God. It is by the very nature of the Spirit to guide you as long as you humble yourself to God. Iron sharpens iron a wise man once said; as Christ calls his children they will hear his voice. In obedience we will not doubt but go to him and do His will.

The Psalmist David who also was a King, said,

Psa 119:11 Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.
Psa 119:89 For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven.

Eph 6:10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
Eph 6:11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
Eph 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Eph 6:13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
Eph 6:14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
Eph 6:15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
Eph 6:16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
Eph 6:17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
Eph 6:18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
Eph 6:19 And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,
Eph 6:20 For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.
Eph 6:21 But that ye also may know my affairs, and how I do, Tychicus, a beloved brother and faithful minister in the Lord, shall make known to you all things:
Eph 6:22 Whom I have sent unto you for the same purpose, that ye might know our affairs, and that he might comfort your hearts.
Eph 6:23 Peace be to the brethren, and love with faith, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Eph 6:24 Grace be with all them that love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity. Amen.
Rev 22:17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.
Rev 22:18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
Rev 22:19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
Rev 22:20 He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
Rev 22:21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.

You have to (pardon the pun) give the devil his due.
On more than one occasion, I have wondered why the all-powerful, all-knowing Creator, He who has willed into being millions of galaxies with billions of stars and innumerable planets would all of a sudden require the assistance of not one but a whole array of febrile and all-too-human and fallible scribes when it was time to communicate His instructions.

I can see how for those who don't have faith this may seem suspect.

He created us to have a relationship with us. It seems perfectly reasonable to me that He would invite his faithful to participate in their, and our, salvation.
