Here is my confirmation verse.
It was given to me because of my goal to become a Lutheran Minister.

Psalm 34:1
I will extol the lord at all times; his praise will always be on my lips.

Here is a poem I wrote:

Farther my hand will reach
To grasp my retreating goal
To stand about and teach
God's loving word I extol
I want to speak the love
That God has taught to me
I sought it out once before
But I had made no great decree
I tell you now
I will tell you straight
Being a teacher of God
It's my destined fate
