I grew up in a very unstable home. My father was alcoholic and a porn addict. He
continually beat us and belittled us. Thankfully, he left. I had a wonderful babysitter
who took care of us from infancy to almost adulthood. She brought my sister and I
into church and we are still there. I struggled with alcohol, but my real challenge
was and is porn addiction. I have fought so hard and thankfully God or my church
never gave up on me. I am now finishing an advanced degree and am ready to enter
a very rewarding profession. I have a wonderful wife and two beautiful sons. God
has blessed me despite my shortcomings and has rewarded my struggle with strength
and blessing. One of my sons is exceptionally gifted, so much so that they wanted to
advance him a grade. God has taken good care of me and continues to try and nurture
me through my “surrogate fathers” at church. If you need inspiration, talk to me. I’m
not the greatest conversationalist, but I can tell you there is a light at the end of the tunnel and it is Jesus Christ. Blessings-Angel652

Praise God for the victories!!! [clap2]

Thank you for sharing your testimony and your blessings with us. You struggle is one that plagues so many today. Even teens. The enemy certainly wants to destroy men because we so desperately need your spiritual leadership in our homes and in our prayer lives and in our congregations. It just overwhelms me with thanksgiving and holy respect to see godly men willing to stand up and say through Christ I am an overcommer of this tool of the devil that no one wants to talk about and many many are in bondage to.

You are not alone here as there are others here who have also been set free and some who want to be set free of this same addiction. I am sure that you will be an encouragement and a blessing to the board. And thanks be to God for your desire to encourage others.

God Bless you and your House Brother and again welcome!
