Lots of ways to skin the cat. What Im about to say has work for me in many situation, that are less than comforting . I have escaped so many troubles by the grace of God I thought at one point Jesus was going to rename me Houdini. The word of God is filled with examples of people just like you and I. Some of my favorites are Job, King David, Joseph and of coarse the Apostle Paul. What I learned from job, gave me a birds eye view of the power God, has allowed the devil, to posses. He caused storms, whirlwinds on jobs property destroyed his reputation killed his children. Yes God allowed it. However the point I am trying to make is that the devils objective was to make Job, curse God by blaming God for doing those terrible things to him. There are only two persons you can blame in this life yourself and the devil. Rather than lash out at the only one that loves you, who is able to deliver you .Recognize the objective behind your conflict. Gods motive is to draw you closer to him. The devils motive is to make you curse God and walk away. Moving on to King David a man after Gods own heart yet he fell severely with Beth-Sheba, yet he persevered and found Gods mercy if you notice while reading the psalms King David used to plead with himself to look up, hope in God. He would remind himself of all the mighty things God has done. This man endured trials that few of us have ever experienced, some self in-flicked some not. In my own life I refer to King David's failures. I find comfort and hope to carry on if God can forgive him then he truly can forgive me
