John 1:10
KJV 10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.
Thomson 10 was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.

These are my thoughts.
Jesus came to world does not know Him because if they did they would be His kingdom, church not the world.
