Before anyone can know God's blessing he must trust God's love. Before anyone knows His righteousness he must trust God is faithful and true. Before grace comes he must trust in the Lord's sacrifice, and before receiving the Holy Spirit one must trust Jesus as Lord.

We read in God's word if God is for us who can stand against, but do we believe He is for us? Scripture says,"when we were yet sinners God commended his love for us." If God loved us when we were yet sinners, how much more now that we are His. Cast off the sins that so easily over power you. Are you going to trust in His word, for these are the promises of life everlasting? If you wont trust completely in His word, how will His word complete you?

We read I will never leave or forsake you. Do we trust God is always with us? Do we doubt every time things aren't going the way we'd like them too. If we fall to sin do we fear God forsaking us? That's not what God's word promises. So whom will we trust our feelings or God? So you want to get everything right, get this right first, trust God at his word. If God is present your blessed with His presence, and He gives many presents.

We read God works all things together for our good to those who love God and are called according to His purpose. Do you trust God is speaking the truth? Then do we doubt when bad things happen? Is it not the bad things that test our faith, that witness to others our peace in God, and draws the lost to Christ. If we trust God we can believe things happen for a reason. We begin to understand these reasons as we draw near to God, and remain there without doubt or fear. Trusting God delivers you from believing God would ever hurt you without a future blessing in it.

We know that Christ will return. We trust this because he promises. He has prepared a place for us. A place in Heaven where after our faith is tried by the fires of this world, it will reap the reward of trusting God. Now if Heaven is our hope do we with patience wait for it? Are we preparing even now to be a people of God? You can trust Jesus as your Savior , but if you don't trust Him as Lord your not giving God your all. Only when God is master of your will can you say as Jesus did, "Not my will but thine be done."
