In Rom. 8:26 we read what our hearts must often confess to be true:

"...We know not what we should pray for as we ought..."

But the Apostle hastens to explain that the Spirit makes intercession for us according to the will of God, adding:

"And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose" (Rom.8:28).

Believers may not receive whatever they ask for in the darkness of this age, but

"God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work" (II Cor. 9:8).

We may not receive whatever we ask for, but by His grace we may have so much more than this, that the Apostle, in contemplating it, breaks forth in a doxology:

"Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,

"Unto Him be glory in the Church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen" (Eph. 3:20,21).

In the light of all this the highest expression of faith today is found in the words of Paul in Phil. 4:6,7:

"Be careful [anxious] for nothing -- but in everything -- by prayer and supplication -- with thanksgiving -- let your requests be made known unto God -- and..."

"And" what?

"And whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive"?

NO!!

"...and the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep [garrison] your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."

Can't touch the message go after the messenger.

Very Juvenal but expected.

I could attack the message, but it does no good...you never answer any questions with straight answers..

and when you get caught in your web of deceit you delete the post so no one can see what you have been in error about...

I have never once deleted a post...you can not truthfully say the same...can you?

You are the Juvenal….with your cool shades.

God forgive you and your childish manners.

You forgot to post,

""...and the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep [garrison] your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.""

So your telling the baseball fans that if one does NOT receive hes must not be believing? Hum.

and

Deleting a post is moot.

I can only say what the scriptures say... so my answer to Christians on this board is yes…I don’t care what the baseball fans think.

Mark 11 :24Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

Matthew 21:22And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

James 4:3Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.

If your believing is correct according to God’s will …God can not lie and He does not change…what He has done for one He will do for all…other wise faith is not faith…no matter what dispensation you are in.

not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection:

Because it was the will of God...the three Hebrew boys knew God could deliver them, but they also knew thy will not mine be done....

According to you wildb...there's no need to even bother praying.....

They did not get swords and knives and kill their tormentors either...

But you just said,"what He has done for one He will do for all!"

Brothers,
I find your exchanges most distressing. Have you ever given thought about what a person who is beinning a new walk with Jesus would see in the way you are expressing your differing points? At this moment there are over 300 visitors to this site and I wonder what they would say about the way you go at each other. Are we, as ambassadors of our Lord, not expected to display the same heart that we claim to follow. How is it that there is such a lack of harmony in the 'body of Christ'. It doesn't matter what you may say about the 'Gospel', you must see that there is no such thing as 'Paul's' or 'Peter's' Gospel, there is only Jesus' gospel. It doesn't make any difference who shared or shares it. It, like everything else in existance, belongs to God. It is for God to guide in it's means of expression.
Please spend some time with Jesus and seek His guidance and understanding as to how you are displaying your faith to others.
May the Spirit of Jesus bring unity to His followers.
Your brother in Christ, LeRoy (thefixer).
