This is a song I recently wrote.
I love song writing and have been a songwriter the past 2 years. Obviously not published yet, but I pursue it as a hobby none the less! [Smile]

Darkness, How depraved it is!

We won't want anything.

TO DO WITH IT'S BLOOD!

Light, how we need you here!

To fiill our minds and our hearts!

TO LEAD US THROUGH THIS DAY!

Protecting those precious eyes.

From everything this life joys in.

TO BE FREE FROM ALL OF THE GRASPS.

Shield your lonely hearts.

So you won't lust for just anything.

TO KEEP YOUR INTEGRITY INTACT!

You told me, if I let my eyes run free.

Everything would come crashing down in life!

Never thought this problem would release.

A monster hiding deep inside my soul, tonight!

AND I NEVER THOUGHT I'D GET OUT OF CONTROL.

NEVER THOUGHT I'D BE STANDING HERE!

WEEPING FOR MY EYES TO BE CLEANSED!

PRAYING THAT YOU'LL FREE MY HEART AGAIN!

"YOU'RE EYES ARE EVERYTHING!" YOU SAID.

Wandering the cold late night.

When everything is lighting up.

WE SHOULD KNOW BETTER BY NOW.

Pericing the darkest pleasure.

Filling the emptied boredom.

WE SHOULD ALWAYS BE ON GAURD!

You told me, if I let my eyes run free.

Everything would come crashing down in life!

Never thought this problem would release.

It may have started with a simple glance.

Then I tied my hands, as I looked back.

And broke my sight, when I thought of it again.

I may say that I had no choice.

But the more that I think of it.

I realize how much I desired THIS!

THEN I MAKE EXCUSES ONE AFTER ANOTHER!

"IF YOU HAD NOT, MADE MY HEART THIS WAY!"

THEN I HIDE THE ANGER AND PRETEND I AM FINE!

OH YOU WANRED ME!

You told me, if I let my eyes run free.
