Donating our organs, how do you feel about that? I've always been a little sqeemish about donating my organs, thinking unscrupulous medical personnel might hasten my death to get at my organs.

And I have wanted to keep myself intact and not be "all cut up for the funeral". But after watching "Hopkins" on TV, I'm thinking I should donate my organs. How do you feel about this? This is probably not a Christian issue, is it?

I am donating my organs. I don't know if it's right or not because it's man that came up with this concept. Well, I guess God did it first when he took Adam's rib to create Eve. Adam didn't have to die for it to happen. I think that taking a rib from Adam to create woman may have some sort of symbol to men that women are created from man and so men should treat their wives as being flesh of their own flesh.

However, my own personal opinion is that if I am dead anyway, then I don't need it so I might as well give life to someone else if I can.

I am for it. The son of the Pastor at my mom's Church is waiting for a kidney transplant.

I know some Christians see it as an issue because they believe their bodies are temples and are not to be desecrated. That is understandable. However, my view is that, when I no longer possess the need for an earthly body, why not continue helping others even after death by donating my organs? I won't need them anymore and there will be millions of pepole not ready to pass on that do!
