Do you believe that there is a plan in place from the day of your birth as to when you will die?

I don't remember where, but somewhere back there in the OT years were added to someone's life because the Lord was merciful. By the same token, depending on the decisions one makes, some may be taken away. Otherwise I would say yes! And that is equivocating at its best. But it's true.

Heres another question. If what you say has truth to it. Why would God take a small child or young person from us? One who appears to have done nothing wrong to warrant the taking away of years of their lives? I am curious?

I think that we need to be careful what we look at as a direct action from God. For example: A tornado rips through your town and blows your house down. Do you say that God decided that your house has stood long enough or do you say that God has allowed nature to run its course? We need to consider that there is a balance of Gods foreknowledge that is mixed with his divine action. When my brother in law was shot and killed by a gang member I did not say that "it was his time" in the sense that God had put it in the heart of the gang member to shoot him at that exact time. In the instance of a young child (such as my baby sister of 5 months old who died of meningitis) I would say that God had foreknowledge of the circumstances that would lead to her death, but I do not believe that God payed a special visit to end her life short because He wanted her to die at that time.

With love in Christ, Daniel

If you don,t remember why are you posting your opinion again?

Hint ~ Hezekiah prayed and 15 years were added unto his days.

Just being human, we have to struggle to find some answers, and some never seem to come.

But if the devil sees the opportunity to do something to harm the image of God, to turn someone against Him, he will seize it with a fury. The devil mischaracterizes God! Now you say, "If God is in control, why doesn't God stop it?" Clearly (and Paul called it the 'mystery' of iniquity) the darkness consumes, violently. All kinds of things happen in the darkness that we don't understand. But accepting it has to do with His purpose. For no man who suffers is rejected from believing on Him for themselves. (And little ones have bigger ones whose faith will cover for them, if the bigger ones will have it.)

Can God stop it? Yes, He can! We see it in some cases when we pray. Othertimes we wonder if our prayer was heard. But He says that "All things, work together for good to those who love the Lord, and are called according to His purpose." To 'accept' by faith, this, in its simplicity, without reservation (with commitment) is honoring Him. It is simple trust in His concern for us and others also, (casting all your care upon Him for He careth for you 1Peter 5:7) and it is what we are called to do. It is faith, and that is what He is looking for - people to believe Him.

He is looking for people who believe Him, and trust Him; for those who 'do not' can end up as the devil. No one needs for that to happen to them, and God doesn't need for that to happen to anyone. That is why we are to 'learn that', here in this life.

And see! The devil says God doesn't care. And he is the accuser of God, and the brethren. Who will you believe? For if you believe the devil, you reject God, telling Him He doesn't care.

Is it painful? Well, part of the problem is in believing what we see with our eyes. Our eyes lie to us. And our eyes should be on Him. Then they will see differently. But who are we to tell Him that He did this or that wrong, which is what we tend to do when we see what we don't understand, which is what our eyes tell us when they are on this other stuff, because the devil is saying that He doesn't care.

For, "Without faith, it is impossible to please God." So who are you going to believe, the devil who doeth the evil, who wants to create 'dissention' from God, or God, whose purpose, He says, is accomplished through this terrible stuff, though we don't see how? Or will you limit God to your will, and your judgment and tell Him He is wrong, when He is God? (See the book of Job) Is He honored in such a way?

When one says that God is in control, it becomes 'very' personal to one because it is as close to Him as you can get. Such may be very alone in the world thereafter. But they are very much closer to Him. For God honors, and visits faith. And does scripture not say that He is 'all knowing'? Does it not say that He is all powerful?

Saieth it not that not a single sparrow can fall from the sky without His knowing? Just think! One sparrow, in one small town cannot fall without His knowing. So how many towns are there. How many cities are there in the world, not to mention the jungles. Can He know it in an all knowing way without being involved? Also, does HE not suffer because of this horrible stuff, (for who will believe Him that He may reach out because He finds faith in someone that He may reach out through them)? I will tell you he bleeds over this kind of thing. God is love, and this is not how He wants it to be, even though He allows it. There is an overriding purpose.

Someone somewhere, anywhere, everwhere in the darkness, is trampled because they don't believe this. They won't give it up to Him. They have no cover, no protection. They reject His cover, and His care by their unbelief. They might have been delivered had they believed. You are fortunate to believe if you do, and are blessed by Him; where the one who does not gets trampled by the darkness, so that, when you look at one your heart bleeds for, you may get to be the one He uses to minister to them if you believe in Him. And He longs to reach out to them, but there are so few who will recognize who He is by their surrender of faith.

Can God change it? Yes! But He needs you to believe in Him so that He may minister to them through your prayer, by your example, or directly and miraculously. Won't you believe in Him?

Act 16:16 And it came to pass, as we went to prayer, a certain damsel possessed with a spirit of divination met us, which brought her masters much gain by soothsaying:
Act 16:17 The same followed Paul and us, and cried, saying, These men are the servants of the most high God, which shew unto us the way of salvation.

Act 16:18 And this did she many days. But Paul, being grieved, turned and said to the spirit, I command thee in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her. And he came out the same hour.

The devil is in the unbelief, and the fruit is manifest. Peter rebuked the Lord in unbelief, and the Lord rebuked the devil who took advantage of Peter's unbelief. The devil was in Judas' unbelief. He is always in the unbelief. Beware the unbelief of the one who convinces that he is sincere.

The Scriptures declare the very hairs on our head are numbered....this tells me my Father Yahweh leaves nothing to chance....

I believe our days are numbered, but I also believe Yahweh is not bond by my determined days... As proved by Hezekiah when he prayed and 15 years were added unto his days.

Long life is promised to those who honor their parents...this condition attached to Yahweh's promise is affected by individual obedience to the Commands of Yahweh.

Yahweh has no grandchildren and He has no robots…..He only has individuals that come to Him with the Blood of His Son daily, caring their cross daily, asking for new mercies daily.

Yahweh responds to one thing.... true heart repentance and prayer brought before the Mercy Seat covered with Yahshua‘s Blood.

Yahweh can add years or take away years all according to what brings Him Glory.

we must remember Yahweh is not the enemy and even though He allows Satan to do bad things to innocent people His nature is love.

Romans 8:28:
We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, who are called according to his purpose.

Yahweh uses all our sufferings to make us like His Son, our Savior , Yahshua
