- Ecclesiastes 5:2,3 "Be not rash with thy mouth, and let not thine heart be hasty to utter any thing before God: for God is in heaven, and thou upon earth: therefore let thy words be few. For a dream cometh through the multitude of business; and a fool's voice is known by multitude of words."

These are the greatest few words youll ever come to love..

Rom.10

[9] That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

Your confession would be something like this.

“Father,

I know that I have broken your laws and my sins have separated me from you. I am truly sorry, and now I want to turn away from my past sinful life toward you. Please forgive me, and help me avoid sinning again. I believe that your son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead, is alive, and hears my prayer. I invite Jesus to become the Lord of my life, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. Please send your Holy Spirit to guide me, help me obey You, and to do Your will for the rest of my life.

In Jesus' name I pray,

Amen.”

When I confessed it was more like this...

"Jesus,

I'm a Sinner. I belive you are the risen Son of God, and I trust in you. I know that only you can save me from my sins. Help me...

Amen"

[10] For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

You get the jest of it~ May the lords ear be on your heart this day.

Hi, WildBee. You said
quote:
When I confessed it was more like this...

"Jesus, I'm a Sinner. I believe you are the risen Son of God, and I trust in you. I know that only you can save me from my sins. Help me...

My confession nowadays is mostly "Lord, have mercy on me a sinner" and "Lord, remember me when You come into Your kingdom". Not a lot of words, but they mean a lot to me and hopefully the words mean a lot to Jesus and to His Father.

Ecclesiastes 5
2-3 Be not rash with your mouth and let not your heart be hasty to utter anything before God; for God is in heaven and you are upon earth. Therefore let your words be few. For a dream comes through the multitude of business; and a fool's voice is known by the multitude of words.

God's way is easy and simple and generous. "Lord have mercy on me a sinner" and "Lord, remember me when You come into Your kingdom." That's all.

love, eden
