Revelation 3:14 is where this comes from. This verse is after Jesus Christ rose from the grave. I believe it whole haertedly. The Central American people need our prayer for the Ruler of Gods' Creation to have mercy on them and still the storm. I read that Felix could be catastrophic for them. Also, I pray that some one has the Faith to join me in believing that not only the hurricanes, but all this deadly weather and shifts of the earth can be arrested with Faith in the Ruler of Gods' Creation.

But at the same time, cbou4668, Central America and the Caribbean island of Haiti are greatly involved with Mary (Maria) worship mixed with voodoo and brujeria and with Roman Catholicism, what a combination!

To be sure, let’s pray for them, cbou4668, the following, Lord, I ask that You will use Felix for the peoples of Central America to SEEK YOUR FACE or call on their brujeria and helpless Mary and voodoo to save themselves. Let’s pray that many of them will call on the LORD God of Israel and on His Son Jesus as a result of these “difficulties”.

But, whether God is USING Felix exactly for that, maybe be an overstatement. God is able, but whether God is sending the hurricanes, I don’t know. After all, Central America is yearly potentially in the path of the hurricanes, so that, God may not necessarily be BEHIND each hurricane as a PUNISHING instrument.

Rather, the Bible says, “when the storm comes, those of us who are founded on THE ROCK which is JESUS will be blessed or will otherwise make it through the storm more easily. But catastrophe is catastrophe, and faith in catastrophe is not an easy thing either.

I’m thankful I’m not in the path of hurricanes. But I am in the path of other things.

There's power in the blood of Jesus. I heard a testimony once by a woman who said the night before the 1993 earthquake in Northridge,Ca. her pastor felt led by the Spirit to have everyone plead the blood of Jesus over their families and homes. The earthquake hit that night and though all her neighbors had damage on their houses she had none. Praise the Lord!!! We cannot command the blood, but if we are led by the Holy Spirit we can agree with our covenant promises through the blood of Jesus. Where two or more of you are agreed as touching anything, in my name, it shall be granted.
