I have not seen ANY movie in a long time but lately I've been thinking that I would still like to see COMEDIC movies because they make me laugh.

What should a Christian's attitude be toward "comedic movies or comedic TV programs"? I like to laugh and they DO make me laugh.

Eventhough comedic movies are NOT about the Lord, it is still okay to laugh at a comedic movie, or should one spent all one's time reading God's Word and books related to the Word and pray for hours on end and preach and teach "whenever we can".

Christians and comedy, is that okay as a pastime since not all bornagain Christians make it to the hundredfold?

What does the sixtyfold do that the hundredfold doesn't do?

And what does the thirtyfold do that the sixtyfold and hundred fold don't do?

There is a time and a place for humor; we need to keep it in balance, moderation.

Also we need to be sure that the humor or comedy is as Philippians 4:8 states….
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

But what a horrible life this would be with no humor.

As we behold nature we get a look in to the mind of Yahweh….

Watching monkey’s at the zoo or all the different shapes, sizes and forms of animals…

Or watch the funniest of all Yahweh’s creation man …

If you want to watch a stand up comedy video you should rent "Thou Shalt Laugh". It is a couple stand up comics that are all Christians and it is hosted by Patricia Heaton (from Everybody Loves Raymond) It is hilarious clean fun...I'm sure you'll enjoy it......
