After finishing Esther and Ezra and Nehemiah and came to the end of Job in my picture-perfect GIANT PRINT BIBLE, I redisovered from reading Job that Job had gotten an exact double portion of his animals, but Job had not gotten an exact double portion of Job's 7 sons and 3 daughters.

These were 7 sons and 3 daughters and the animals which Job had before Satan made Job lose it all:

Job 1
1 There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil.
2 And there were born to him 7 sons and 3 daughters.

Job 1:3
His substance also was 7,000 sheep, and 3,000 camels, and 500 yoke of oxen, and 500 she asses, and a very great household; so that this man was the greatest of all the men of the east.

And this is what Job got back after his terrible ordeal was over.

Job 42
12 So the LORD blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning: for he had 14,000 sheep {he used to 7,000}, and 6,000 camels[/b] {he used to have 3,000}, and 1,000 yoke of oxen {he used to have 500}, and 1,000 she asses {he used to have 500}.

13 But he {still} had also 7 sons and 3 daughters.

14 And he called the name of the first {daughter}, Jemima; and the name of the second {daughter}, Kezia; and the name of the third {daughter}, Keren-happuch.

No double portion of kids Enough pleasure already?

Actually, it is pretty amazing to realize that the LORD can manimpulate earth events to the extent that He can cause Job to have exactly 7 sons and 3 daughters again; but why not 14 sons and 6 daughters, eh? Too much pleasure?

Jemima and Kezia and Keren-happuch, I love it.

Ah, but BA... the blessing of the Lord maketh rich and add not sorrow. Job also got 4 generations of his sons' sons and so he got more sons, but someone else had to feed and cloth them!!! [clap2]
