This part of 2 Chronicles has helped me a lot whenever I have been tempted to was be cheap because I was poor or to claim something on my taxes to which I was morally probably entitled but legally not really was I 51% entitled, or whatever, and this verse helped me in those times:

2 Chronicles 25:9
And Amaziah said to the man of God, But what about the hundred talents {of silver} that I have already given to the army of Israel? And the man of God answered, The LORD is able to give you much more than this.

So instead I remained trustful and truthful, believing that "The LORD is able to give you much more than this."
