Now if you turn back to 1 Samuel 21 nad read the record, you will note that the king of Gath is called Achish, and in Psalm 34 he is called Abimelech. The critic sees this and says that it is quite obvious this is not an inspired psalm of David, and that this is an error in the Bible.

Abimelech ia a general title of royality, just as Pharaoh was a general title in Egypt.
