Who Can Endure A Broken Heart ?
There are times when grief overwhelms and no fellow human beings can ease the pain people are going through. Human words and comfort seem to have no effect when one goes through extremely difficult situations. Wounds inflicted on human body will be healed and the pain will go away after some time eventhough the scars may remain .But broken hearts will not be easily healed. Only God can comfort in situations like this.The Holy Bible says,"The spirit of a man will sustain him in sickness, But who can bear a broken spirit?"Proverbs;18:14.If a man gets sick and even though it is a deadly disease he can endure it but a broken heart no man can endure-himself or others. Only God can heal a broken heart.The Psalmist says,"He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds."Psalm;147:3And, "A broken and contrite heart O God you will not despise."Psalm;51:17.God binds up the injuries of his people and heal their wounds. [Isaiah;30:26 ]
Lord Jesus said, "Blessed are those who mourn, because they will be comforted."Mathew;5:4.There will be many to comfort and console the great and mighty when they are going through grief. But God is there to comfort the poor and the downcast and the lonely Jesus was sent by God to heal the broken hearts and to comfort those who mourn,He said, "The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me, Because the Lord has anointed Me To preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives, And the opening of the prison to those who are bound; To comfort all who mourn." Isaiah;61:1. The Bible says that God is the Father of the fatherless and the keeper of widows.[Psalm;68:5] He receives the meek and the lowly and the poor and the broken hearted. He cares for the sparrows and not even one of them falls to the ground without his knowledge. He knows how many hairs are there on the head of a believer.” For thus says the High and Lofty One Who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: "I dwell in the high and holy place, With him who has a contrite and humble spirit, To revive the spirit of the humble, And to revive the heart of the contrite ones.”Isaiah;57:15

Ecclesiastes 3: 1-8
To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;
A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.

Isaiah 40: 28-31 He never grows faint or weary. No one can measure the depths of his understanding. He gives power to those who are tired and worn out; he offers strength to the weak.

Even youths will become exhausted, and young men will give up. But those who wait on the LORD will find new strength.

They will fly high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.
