Before this becomes a "Get Santa and commercialism out of a Christian Holiday" thread it should be noted that Christmas is NOT a Biblically mandated holiday. We are, therefore, free to celebrate it any way we choose or not celebrate it at all. It is NOT exclusively a "Christian" holiday. For those of us who celebrate the birth of our Lord it's an important holiday. For others it's at least a warm family celebration. Rather than condemning others for the way they choose to celebrate it would be better if we lovingly shared with them why we celebrate the way we do.
