This addiction to spending and government checks is weakening our nation, and breeding a cycle of government dependency and social violence not easily escaped from.

Americans for Limited Government President Bill Wilson today praised Sen. Jeff Sessions, ranking member of the Senate Budget Committee, who released findings showing that means-tested welfare spending topped $1 trillion in 2011 in 83 different programs at the federal and state level:

2 Thessalonians 3:10 For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat.11 For we hear that there are some which walk among you disorderly, working not at all, but are busybodies.
