A key moment thus far in the George Zimmerman murder trial occurred earlier this week when a teen-aged witness admitted in court that she could not read cursive handwriting. The significance of the testimony in the case is yet to be seen. But outside the courtroom, educators and handwriting experts are asking another question: Is cursive dead?
Some people argue it's no longer necessary that children learn cursive writing, and instead focus on keyboard input. Others say that cursive handwriting helps children focus on the content of their writing.
So what are the benefits of cursive handwriting to you? Or, should children skip handwriting lessons for typing class?

I learned it in school now the that I am an adult I used it so little I can not read all the words either.
