Theres a short line from an old John Wayne movie, Cheer up. All we can lose is our jobs.

I know a statement like that probably doesnt bring much comfort if youve recently lost a job or might be losing your job. But heres a question, What does a job or a career mean to you?

In these times of financial and economic uncertainty its important to know what a job is and what it isnt. This way we know exactly what we lose when its gone. But more importantly, we know what we gain and what we can never lose when the 9 to 5 has punched out. I explain more in this weeks video blog post.
