I am sure he will be missed by his church and the university students.

Reverend Jerry Falwell Dies at Age 73
Falwell died suddenly of what his doctor suspects was the final throes of heart disease. “He was found without a pulse - never regained a pulse and it is a little too early to speculate this. I would assume that he passed away from the cardiac rhythm abnormality,” said Dr. Carl Moore, Falwell`s personal physician...

From what I have seen the man always preached the truth of the Gospel no matter who was attending the service. Kind of nervy to imply that he was not saved.

Betty did you read that he took money from Moon?

Did you see the picture of him embracing Moon?

Do you know what Moon taught and stood for?

Betty never forget Yeshua's words...

Not everyone that say Lord< lord will enter eternal life!

I don't suppose to know where Falwell is at, at this moment but I know there is much that makes me doubt he was really a Christian.

just as I doubt that Oral Roberts, Billy Graham, Kenneth Copeland, Benny Hinne, Paul and Jan Crouch, Jesse Duplantis and a host more...

The Word tells me by their fruit you will know them. By their lives, how they live, how they dress, modesty in cost and appearance, how they talk, who they associate with …

I can’t judge anyone where they will spend eternity but I am commanded to judge the actions of those I call brother or sister … the scriptures demand I put those living contrary to the Holiness of Yahweh out from the mists of the Church.

Betty this Gospel, this Life of Yeshua is not to be handled lightly.

The so called Church? needs a reality check, Yeshua is returning soon for a spotless Bride, a Bride that is making herself ready, not playing Church and building Kkingdoms for themselfs on earth.

Did you read that the money came in through a differnt person then Moon? As far as the picture, I could be in a crowd and the anti-Christ walk up and shake my hand just as a picture was being taken. This would not make me a follower of the anti-Christ.
Bro. Farwell preached the truth even when it hurt him. He was not afraid of not being PC. For this I applaud him.

Amen, Betty.

BecauseHelives I'm sure you are going to be surprised at the number of people who make it to heaven that you don't expect to be there. You better prepare yourself to rub shoulders with them.

All of the preachers you named profess to being born again, so what gives you the authority to judge them? You say you have the right to judge their actions, but you can't see their hearts. You can't deny that you don't think they will make to heaven. Look at what you said about Jerry Falwell.

Romans 14:4 Who are you to condemn someone else’s servants? They are responsible to the Lord, so let him judge whether they are right or wrong. And with the Lord’s help, they will do what is right and will receive his approval.

Even though we may lose our popularity, we have to be honest before the Lord, and follow His leadings.I am not saying that Jerry Falwell was always right, but he was very bold with his convictions, and had no fear in following them.

I am surprised at the respect the media is showing him with the coverage of his passing.

He preached the truth even when delivered blunt.

BTW David sorry I thought I had a link to it but I guess I forgot it. Thanks for your help.

Everyone’s heart shows through their actions...

It’s just that in this day of apostasy people accept wolves in sheep costumes as men and women of God

America want have to wait long, judgment is at her door, and the pulpits have prostituted the Gospel long enough,

Most people in America have never even heard the True Gospel, and they want read the scriptures for themselves there they will never be saved.

Why are the gays speaking out against him?
It is because he DID preach the truth of the Gospel. The internet is filled with hate towards him for speaking out the truth.

He certainly DID preach the truth and was hated for it, even among some professing Christians. I've always respected the man, and enjoyed hearing him preach because he told it the way it is.

By the way, a picture of Falwell with Moon proves nothing, and certainly doesn't prove he was unsaved. For all anyone knows, the Unification Church could have taken a photo of Falwell and a photo of Moon and merged them together with Photoshop or similar photo-editing software, and I certainly wouldn't put it past them to do so. I certainly wouldn't put any stock in a lone picture.

Amen!! Christians shouldn't get caught up in the Hollywood-type of press. We should keep our thoughts pure.

2 Corinthians 10:5
Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.
