Just yesterday, briefs were filed at the Supreme Court by the aclj (American Center for Law & Justice) on behalf of Christians everywhere against this disgusting foundation.

I wouldn't recommend it but...their website is an atrocity. They actually have the nerve to sell bible warning labels in their on-line store which say:
"Warning: Literal belief in this book can be dangerous to your health"

They also have a bumper sticker that boasts:
"The Bible: A grim fairy tale"

This un-Godly organization seeks not just to mock Christanity but to abolish it completely. They urge their fans to place these warning labels on as many bibles as they can find (i.e. Gideon's bibles in hotels....etc).

Let's keep this whole situation in prayer....and try to stop this organization from doing these things against us. They have an underlying agenda against Christianity....and it's funny how no other religion is mentioned by them.

We can no longer be a doormat for the secular world. Let's rise up in prayer like we are called to do.

May God be eternally praised....

I seen a bumper sticker a couple of weeks ago that said "Jesus Christ was just a socialist liberal" I couldn't believe somebody would drive around with something like that on their car...

I apologise if I speak out of my bounds, but they have just as much right to do this as you have to stick stickers on your cars and preach to citizens on sidewalks.

You say they have an underlying agenda against Christianity, yet Christianity also has an agenda against all other religions. The agenda, ofcorse, is conversion.

And I believe that, becouse Christianity is the largest religion in the United States, and becouse it speaks out more than any other, it is the main target. Another point, you don't see Buddhists condeming people to Hell becouse somebody speaks against their religion.

I speak with the utmost humility, and I apologise if I offend anybody.

Nythology,

On this message board we know that Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world. Jesus stated the below in John 14:6

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

This is the truth and true Christians will teach it until the day they die. If they teach anything else they are not Chritians but FAKES.

If we believe in Jesus Christ then we will tell people that there is NO OTHER way. Why would we no want people to be save and come to know the Savior.

HELL is real and 1 minute after someone dies, if they did no know Jesus Christ as their savior they will know it is real.

>>> Christianity also has an agenda against all other religions

NO you are wrong. It is not against all other religions as knowing Jesus is not a religion. People can not believe in any religion and they will also perish in the flames of hell. Jesus is the only way - PERIOD. But no one is trying to make anyone do anything. We just tell people the good news of how Jesus Christ paid their sin dept and offers the payment for free to those that believe on Him. If they don't want to know about it. Then we do not condem them to hell, they do. But if you choose to make your own god up, and say Hell does not exist. Then that is OK with me because you have been told the truth and ONLY you can make the choice. I will not try and make you do anything. All Christians are suppost to do is tell you and if you choose not to believe it then that is it. No one trys to make you believe it by force.

And yes,

>>>> I apologise if I speak out of my bounds

you are speaking out of bounds as you were told what we believed when you signed up to join the message boards. There is ONLY ONE WAY to be saved and that is through Jesus Christ. Please think on it and make the right choice. Eternity is forever and ever and to make the wrong one will be hell.

I would like to know why this organization is being brought to court. From the couple examples of what they do, it seems no force should be required. I like how you said to respond better. We should pray and let God sort it out, not look to the government to force these people from saying things we do not like.

Although the stickers on the bibles in hotels would be acts of vandalism, but it would be the hotels responsibility to bring criminal charges.

The ACLJ is a wonderful organization that fights for Christian rights. Right now for instance they are praying for the rights of Chaplins to pray in Jesus' name. Who would have thought that a Military Chaplin could be punished for praying in the name of Jesus? But sadly it is happening.
The first time I heard of them was when they stood up to a school that punished a 5 year old for singing Jesus loves me in class. The teacher had asked each child to sing their fav song. When this child sang Jesus loves me, she was expelled from school. The school had to reinstate this child because of what the ACLJ did.
We do need them.

Why are people bothering taking them to court? Every hour WASTED on this is an hour that could be spent explaining to people the meaning of John 3:16.

Amen brother Andy AMEN.

I want freedom from religion also - religion gets in the way of, and hinders, a proper relation with Yahweh thru Y'shua.

The ACLJ is deceived into fighting the political battle rather than the eternal battle for the hearts and souls of people.

Matthew 10:16-20
(16) "Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves; so be shrewd as serpents and innocent as doves.
(17) "But beware of men, for they will hand you over to the courts and scourge you in their synagogues;
(18) and you will even be brought before governors and kings for My sake, as a testimony to them and to the Gentiles.
(19) "But when they hand you over, do not worry about how or what you are to say; for it will be given you in that hour what you are to say.
(20) "For it is not you who speak, but it is the Spirit of your Father who speaks in you.

With all the times Jay and the ACLJ (the name tells you he is fighting the WRONG fight) have stood before the courts - how many times have they presented the Gospel??????????

If the chaplains want the freedom to pray "In Jesus' name" - then DON'T take a govt paycheck to be a chaplain - then they will have the freedom.

Let the Churches support the chaplains rather than the taxpayer.

Why do Christians demand that the the govt (via taxpayer dollars) pay people to be pastors/missionaries.
That's NOT the govt's job.

Would you be just as demanding that govt paid chaplains be able to publicly pray in alah's name, or budda's name or some pagan god's name?
