Unfortunately the ACLU is a runaway train, but we can take comfort that when Jesus sets up his Kingdom on earth there will be no ACLU and no abortion clinics.

Dear HE LIVES, I did not read your link, but my gut reaction is that, like the vultures, the ACLU is performing a useful function in society of cleaning up the corpse before it rots.

In a democracy, phrases like "these people need to be stopped" are non-democratic phrases.

As Christians, we can only pray that they become Christians.

And Christians can run for public office. The Devil hates that. What? Harriet Miers is a Christian? What about separation of church and state?, they cry.

But we must not stop anyone in any other way.

"The government shall not make any one religion the state religion", but "all religions can freely flourish" and "may the true religion win" if there is a true religion--which in my opinion, the winner is: the LORD God of Israel, who made heaven and earth, the Creator, the Only Living God. All others are idols made of wood, silver, and gold who neither speak nor hear.
