My wife and I went on a missions trip to Lima,Peru with our church. When we arrived back in Atlanta, coming thru customs, a whole plane of US soliders were also arriving. The people in line in customs, started yelling and clapping. Some of us from the church and some strangers, formed a line and clapped and extended our hands thanking them as they walked by. I was at the beginning of the line, so I didnt get to see the next part. The ones at the end said the soliders were crying and thanking us for welcoming them home. Do you realize how much those guys/gals must have appreciated us? All the **** they read bout the war is unsupported, doing no good, etc etc. Only to arrive home and have a group of Christians welcome them, thank them and let em know we are praying for them. Really dont know where I m going with this post but God laid it on my heart to make it. Next time you see a solider in uniform, walk up and thank him/her. I ll bet you anything it ll make their day. It ll also open the door for you to preach the gospel. How many of you give out tracts? It d be the perfect chance to give em one.

It doesn't matter what your feelings are about the war, we should honor our soliders. We live in a military town and hubby was a Marine.
