My dad, in the latter 1/2 of his 50s, says that, every birthday, you've beaten 'em for 1 more.
I turn 29 on July 11th.

I will be 59 in April, so I am pushing 60. I have arthritis too and I walk with a cane so I can relate. Birthdays sometimes do make us reflect, but don't let getting older make you sad. Ever decade of life has its pluses and minus. Celebrate what you can do and try not to worry about what you can't do. God bless you. betty

I'm not exactly tickled about growing older. It's definitely not for sissies. I turned 45 yesterday. I've been a bit depressed. I think it's because I'm not where I want to be in life right now but, I found some scripture pertaining to being content and thankful for the circumstances as they are. So, that's what today will be about. Now if I could just embrace the arthritis I'd be in business. *Giggles* Anyone else have anything to share on this point? See you all in a week. *Waves*
