There is a poison lurking inside most of the foods we eat today, which slips through the cracks and remains unnoticed by most.
This substance has been shown to cause a wide verity of symptoms ranging from immune system deficiencies to gum disease and is consumed by ourselves and our children on a daily basis – contributing to a slow downfall of wellness and happiness.
But what is this poison?
How does it sneak into our bodies without us knowing it?
This poison has been masked as a sweet snack, flavor enhancement, energy enhancer, etc. and goes by the name of sugar.
In the year 1957, Dr. William C. Martin tried to determine what food should be considered a food or poison.
Dr. Martin came to the conclusion that sugar was indeed a poison because it had been stripped of its vitamins and minerals – lacking absolutely any nutrient benefit what-so-ever.
Refined sugar is so negative for our bodies that when it is eaten it can create an acidic environment for the body, leading to cell damage and a whole host of other problems.
In the past studies were preformed on sugar by French researchers, which concluded that sugar is worse than eating nothing at all. When the body consumes pure sugar it has to use up it’s stored vitamins and minerals in order to digest, detoxify and eliminate this product.
A daily intake of sugar forces the body to use up its calcium supplies to combat the acidic environment that sugar creates, which can lead to tooth decay and bone density loss.
But, physical decay is not the only problem on a steady sugar intake – there are also mental problems to deal with.
Studies have show that steady sugar intake can also contribute to mental illness – ranging from A.D.D., depression, anxiety, stress, bi-polar upsets, mood-swings, etc.
Overall, sugar is not good for you… so cut it out.
