I put this in the General section, as I don't wish to imply that this is a "Biblical topic", but it certainly is an interesting one.
Has anyone here had a "near-death" experience? (That is you or someone close to you actually "died" and was rescusitated and brought back to life?
There have been many stories of people, even children that tell of meeting Jesus, or seeing a light at the end of a dark tunnel, or seeing family or friends when they had these experiences.
In the Bible we know that several people were brought back from the dead, such as Lazarus, the little 12 year girl, by Jesus, and there are no accounts of what they might have experienced while they were dead. The Bible is silent on that subject.
Any thoughts about this subject?
