Please know that this is not some scam letter to try and solicite money from you nice people, this is truley what is going on in mine and my childrens lives right now and all of this information can be verified, i dont know where else to turn, believe me this is a very humiliating thing for me to have to do, but for my childrens sake, here it goes......
About a year ago i took myself and my 3 children out of an abusive relationship. Its been an uphill battle ever since but lately things have really taken a turn for the worse. A few months ago i lost my car and my job, soon after the phone was shut off and just last week the gas was shut off on us as well ( our gas controls the hot water, heat and stove ). I am currently trying to find work but am having a difficult time due to having no phone, car or daycare. I am trying to find a night time job that is either accessable by bus or withing walking distance, in the meantime the rent has gotten so far behind that we are facing eviction. Currently i owe about $45 from Mays rent and all of June, July and August. Someone has set up one of those free months of AOL service for me so for a couple more weeks i will have an email address of DEBBIE332211@AOL.COM, the reason i am posting this message is to put out a cry for help to anyone who could possibly spare ANY amount of a financial donation to help me and the children keep our apartment, if we lose this apartment we will literally be homeless. If anyone out there could possibly find it in their heart to spare any amount at all to help us we would be forever grateful. I do realize with the way the world is today that many of you may be skeptical of my story and i do understand so if you are able to help out please email me and i will give you the address of the housing authority to which i pay rent and my account number, that way you could send your donation directly to the landlord and be assured that your contribution is going exactly where you intend it to go. Believe me when i tell you that i have looked into EVERY sort of charitable organization in my area, either they are gone completely due to budget cuts or the funding is depleted right now. Fuel Assistance did tell me that i can apply in Novemeber for help with the gas bill, november is when their funding is replenished. This is very humiliating for me to do and i am very ashamed. I wish there was a way to prove to you that this is a very legitimate story and eviction is a very real possibility for me and the children. People donate to charity all of the time, maybe you could look at this in the same way except you would be helping a family directly without going threw an agency who takes "their cut". Please if anyone can spare any help what so ever it would be very very much appreciated, please help us threw this difficult time. My ex always told me id never be able to make it without him, sometimes during times like this i begin to think he may have been right. Im hoping to just get over this hump and intend on going to work nights and possibly taking a couple college courses threw a program called CHOICES up at the community college, i figure no matter how long it takes me eventually someday i will finish my college and our lives will be better, but for right now we really could use some help
