Amen brother!

My dear husband was a vietnam vet, he did not chose to go to Vietnam, he was drafted.
He had some very bad things happen to him over there, but it did not compare to how bad he was treated by the Americans when he came home.

His heart was broken, he never got over it, he gave his life so people could be free to call him baby killer. He died April 4, 2000, agent orange cancer from his service to his country.

His name should by all rights be on the wall.

I am praying for our troops. and I will be praising and thanking them when they come home.

God bless,

There was a very telling moment on I believe it was the CBS news report. The troops were providing tankers of water to a village which had its water cut off by the Iraqi Military. As the villagers were filling their jugs, buckets, coolers, many young children were also filling jugs. The reporter was interviewing one of the soldiers who was present. During the interview reference was made to the children and he mentioned his nieces and nephews who were the same age, then his voice broke, and tears rolled down his face, and he could not speak.

During Vietnam we watched our troops come home to be spat on, called "baby killers", and denigrated by protestors. Our children are engaged in battle. They are sacrificing all on our behalf. We must NEVER AGAIN allow our children to come home to derision and denigration. Battle is sheer horror, hearts and souls wounded beyond measure, but the spirit indomitable will persevere and will complete their mission. The children of Iraq will be free from the rule by terror, and the water will once again flow.

God bless our men and women in our military, our countrie's children. They will return home, and they will be honored as the true heroes that they are. A carpet of yellow ribbons awaits as far as the eye can see. God bless our troops and God bless America.
