My Sister,
He must realize that the only true father that he needs is Jesus Christ. Untill he finds Jesus he will not change. We must first be broken down and in a place of complete submission to fully receive the true glory of God.
Trust in that God takes care of all things and that he does listen to your prayers. And he listens to the prayers of all of his family.

Up until my son was 10 his father was a major part of his life.
One day out of the blue he left us all. (wife and 4 children) I am now remarried and my son and his step dad do not get along.
My son has not mentioned his struggles about this but I am sure this has to be part of his difficulty.
His father sees him about once or twice a year now.
I was showing my son the story of Joseph in the Bible and told him that God can take his pain and use it for his glory. I am not sure he understands.
Thank you for praying for him.

A personal walk with God is something that many new beleivers have a hard time with. They have no direction or Guidance because they choose not to have.
I will pray for him and I know that God will answer in his perfect time. But please do not discount your own praying power.
You are his mother. God gave him to you for a reason. If you pray God will answer in the best way.
Place your faith in him and all will be fine.
Is the Father in his life having a negative influence on him? More spacifically is the father not around?

Please pray for my 22 year old son Joshua.
He is without direction in his life. (No job, wrong friends,bad habbits to break etc...)
He has recently excepted christ but does not go to church. Please pray that he will begin to attend church so that he can grow, and that God will guide him into his perfect will for his life.
