Our Father in Heaven, I too would like to join in prayer for Betty and her family to have a full recovery followed by a beautiful day for them to enjoy and give praise to you. In Jesus' name, AMEN.

Thanks Laurie,
I am feeling better. I went to Church with son and hubby today and did not have to take a pain pill until I got home. I am taking the anitbotics and hopefully will be free of infection soon.

I did not see this post yesterday but was moved to pray for you and your family this morning! Funny how the Holy Spirit keeps us in the loop even we aren't apprised of every situation.
Sinus infections are weird in that they can be very difficult to get rid of and are often viral which can't even really be treated except with strong decongestants and nasal sprays. My mom's chronic sinus and ear infections are what led them to do surgery on her sinuses which is how they found her brain tumor. In her case, her sinus and allergy problems are exacerbated by the tumor tissue creating additional blockages in these little ducts and canals.
Anyway, as a chronic sufferer of sinus conditions ,yself, I will continue to pray for your relief an healing, because I know they are awful!

Thanks for your prayers. They have done none of that. But she said she things an allergy is causing my sinuses to get infected. Last week, I had stopped by the clinic to get my allergy meds refilled and she refused. She gave me some today. If I have to go back I am going to ask her to do what you suggest. thanks again for your prayers.

Betty,
I'm becomming concerned that this is not a 'regular' infection. Have the doctors done any tests to see what bacteria it is, and what it's sensitive to? It should be relatively easy for them to take a swab from either your nasal passage or throat and do a culture w/sensitivity on it. If you're taking an antibiotic that this particular bacteria is resistant to, then it's not going to help.

Thanks everyone. I am back from spending the day at the Clinic and at Cosco's for pain meds. The clinic gave me some anitbotics for free so that was a huge help. Right now, though I feel pretty miserable. I had a 99.9 temp at the doctor.

As most of you know I got that infection in my sinuses, my ears, and all in my mouth in January. It took over 30 days to get rid of it. Then we got exposed at the VA to a man with a bad chest infection who did not cover his mouth when he coughed and of course we got that and were ill for 3 weeks. Well, I was feeling great for three days and now the infection in my sinuses, my ears, my mouth and even my right eye. My whole right side of my face is messed up where I can barely open my mouth. So I am back to the clinic today. Please pray that I can get my health back.
I do not know if God is trying to teach me something or what. But this is getting so very discouraging. ![[crying]](graemlins/crying.gif)
