Such a tragic thing, but our Lord has overcome the World, and is bigger than even this terrible condition.
Dear Father, we lift up Chad, and place him at the foot of Your throne. At this time when our whole nation is in an uproar over a similar case, Lord, show us Your sovereign power over this emergency. For the sake of Chad's family, and all those who depend on him, please reverse this terrible condition and return Chad to his loved ones, healed, whole and alert. In the face of such tribulation, show us Your healing hand at work, Father, and turn the heads of those who have forgotten the value of the precious life you've given us. In the name of Jesus, amen.

Oh, I can't believe I'm coming to you again with another desperate need for prayer!
I just learned today that a friend's brother is not expected to live. Chad apparently had a bout with pancreatitis a few days ago, which quickly caused his kidneys to fail. This, in turn, led to his heart stopping briefly, and doctors have now declared him brain-dead. This is an otherwise healthy 29-year-old father of 3. This is just so tragic.
I do know that Chad has been anointed by the elders of his church, and his family is keeping their faith and hoping for The Great Physician to intervene.
Please pray for Chad and his family. Thank you so much.
