Well, I must thank you all again for your prayer. However, I must also sadly report that the outlook for this doesn't look promising -- there hasn't been much traffic to the shop, and not a single sale. I do appreciate your kind thoughts, though. Thank you all so much.

Father, I lift this servant's need to You, praying for more than just hope, Lord, but for a solution. As one who appreciates the basic necessities of life (a lesson You taught me) I pray for this person's future--and for an avenue of success to be revealed. I extend the prayer to everyone reading this, and to myself, Lord, for these are trying financial times.
Comfort this servant of Yours--and we also pray or the healing of his affliction. Making the blind to see is nothing new to You, Father. We ask Your will be done, and that a great miracle is seen here for the benefit of us all. In the name of Jesus I pray. Amen.

Dear Friends,
It's difficult for me to bring this to others, but I have little choice. I am losing my eyesight due to a condition known as a "secondary cataract", a form of capular scarring which occurs after traditional cataract surgery and which causes essentially the same problem as a cataract does. These can occur within months of the surgery, or -- as in my case -- they can take decades to begin to cause serious problems.
As a consequence of these "secondary cataracts", I have lost the ability to work, as I can no longer read anything on paper, or on most computer screens. I have filed for Disability, but that was over a year ago, and my advocacy attorneys at Candace Apple & Associates (in Phoenix) recently informed me that a hearing date for my claim will come no sooner than April. With no income at this time, and no possibility of income in the near future, I have opened an online store at cafepress.com in an effort to try to maintain my ability to pay for rent and other utilities until such time as my disability claim is approved.
I would ask that you pray for my business, as without it there is a very high likelihood that I will be left living on the street. I appreciate your thoughts, and I will be remembering all of you in my prayers as well.
