In most cases God did not intend man to be alone. Otherwise why would he liken our relationship to us being His bride? There is no shame in wanting to be with someone. Being lonely has to be the 2nd worst feeling in the world (seperation from GOD has to be first). He knows what you are going through as He is rejected daily by those He created and loves. Do not lose faith. He is preparing you and most likely is preparing your future bride as well. However as He allows you to go through this season of feeling lonely for a companion, my prayer would be that you would experience the power of His great love for you. And that He would sent His saints and angels to minister to you to give you comfort so that the joy of your salvation would be protected. God's continued blessings

Hey, from one loner to another I suppose.
I've prayed the same thing. But God has taken me down some strange roads in life, and sometimes I think I'd never subject another person to stuff I've had to do. I can look back now and make people laugh regailing them of my "adventures." Some of them laugh because they're glad it was me and not them.
Have faith that it will happen for you, in the right place with the right person in His right time. And prayer can only help.

It does not sound selfish at all; I will pray for you certainly; I will pray every day! I am so sorry you are alone now. I really can't imagine being alone; I have never been alone really. I know it is not God's way that you should be alone, and so I know he must have someone wonderful out there just for you. I will be honored to stand with you in prayer that God would bring her to you.
PS: you might change your profile to show what area of the country you are in and maybe your birth yr. She might be right here on this board and you might not even know it. There are many people here who never post. You might get a PM, who knows. God;'s ways are not our ways, but he always answers prayer!

This may sound a bit selfish, but I do not intend it to be.
Please pray for me to receive a companion in this life. I am in such a lonely place, and would like very much for God to deliver me a companion that is right for me.
