I would like to ask for your prayers for Mariah...she is going off to college this week. We take her on Saturday. This is an exciting and scary time all rolled into one.
She will be living in the dorms and while she will be going to a small college here in SD, it is still a secular one. Please pray that God will use her for HIS purposes there and that her faith will remain strong in spite of any influence from non-Christian professors or students.
We are very blessed here in SD in that there is a huge Chritian influence. We have more churches than bars and Chrisitanity is the dominate religion. We still pray in the name of Jesus at public events, for the most part our political leaders can be found in church on Sunday and this is a family place. Still I worry because I know that in some colleges there are folks there with a mission to destroy the faith of young people.
I would very much appreciate that you keep her in your prayers and stand with me in agreement that God will keep a hedge around her.
