I am praying to God for clarity, courage, patience and drive, and strength, in that order. I see so many changes that need to be made in my life... but not the starting point to begin changing... and may God guide me.
I tend to get comfortable standing still. I believe He knows this--but I need a motivator besides fear and dread. I am tired of wondering and being afraid. What I need is inspiration. I am daunted by the size of these tasks. I know He is bigger, but I can't always see Him. Sometimes I feel like a ship at sea, wishing someone would remember to flip the on switch in the lighthouse so I could see where I am. I am never without someone goading me--is this to get me to act, or keep me in my place? When I am alone I wish I had company... and when I am not alone I am just a part of a crowd, or being talked down upon... so what's wrong, is it me? I am in this hard-to-define place and looking for a way home. I pray that God understands what I mean. I am not sure myself... but I am describing the symptoms of this condition as best I can. In Jesus's name, Amen.
